We’re quite certain you won’t want to miss this spectacular and most fantastical literary adventure…
In fact, WONDERLAND is the Library’s 2014 Gala, our annual benefit event to support the PPL’s important educational and cultural programs and services in the community. For those who have not yet experienced the Library’s unique and exquisitely restored spaces (as well as those who have!), this occasion will provide the perfect opportunity to invite friends and supporters to take part in what promises to be the event of the season, while enjoying sumptuous food and exceptional hospitality provided by our partner Russell Morin Fine Catering.
The adventure begins at 7:00 pm and carries on until Midnight, for those up to late evening madness! Guests who “drop in” will experience our stunning library transformed in a fanciful recreation of one of the most enduring literary classics — Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland — where a whimsical cast of characters will bring riotous folly to life with live music and performances, including opportunities for guest participation! Plan to leave this world behind for a few hours of fun and frivolity...not to mention some of the best “Eat Me’s” and “Drink Me’s” in town!
