A taste of historical Providence
The turn-of-the-century decor at the Hotel Providence the well-preserved historical buildings in the neighborhood. The hotel's staff is friendly and attentive and the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed.

When the rates are reasonable I prefer to stay in this hotel when I am visiting Providence. I like to be downtown and downtown it is..in the middle of it all. The rooms are well appointed and the bathrooms are new and large. The only problem I have is with this hotel is the service at the concierge and bellman/parking attendent levels which is inconsistent and detached from it's guests.
